Neolain Minecraft Servers Blog

Our servers are always up (24/7) both Beta and Classic Minecraft. Our community is small but we usually have people online at all times of the day from every time zone, so drop on by and pay us a visit!

Our Beta server is PVPE and has modifications such as teleportation, custom commands, and so much more!

Our Classic server has custom features such as fighting monsters and using guns against players and monsters. We also have greif-safe maps for builders to build in a friendly and safe environment.

Players can now make their own zones called “residences” for 5 Neocash a block of space. The zones can be monster-free and can keep unwanted people from griefing!

That’s right people, we have over 100 regular users in our servers. Classic alone just reached 100 Regulars and is still climbing! Beta has about 20 Regulars and was just opened to the entire public world so we’ll have much more soon!

You can now buy commands like /heal as well as get some stacks of items or even wizard spells/commands that enable you to have building commands, combat spells, and have admin-like abilities like changing the time of day in-game or even become invincible!

The nether world is FINALLY here!!!  Portals don’t work so you need to use /warp nether to go there. Watch your step when you go to the nether!

What’s that? More protection to keep us safe from the evil griefer gangs? Sweet!

We now have the ability to add zones to the maps which restrict people from editing withing the zones unless they are allowed to! Some zones can also have healing and mob-free qualities.

All areas have PvP turned off now except for the PvP Arena!!! To go there type /warp pvparena

To have your house or creation added to a zone ask the admin or a mod!

There is now an ingame economy. You start with 1000 Neocash and work your way up to the suave life or become poor, lol it’s all up to you!

You can also now buy and sell basic and unobtainable blocks and items from the world store from anywhere at any time!

And yes of course I wouldn’t forget player shops! Just setup some chest with some items and your good to go!

Sorry guys, when you login you might notice that your entire inventory is empty. I will gladly spawn the items you lost when I am online.

This inventory mess-up is caused by the new authentication. It by default clears your inventory when you are not registered in the authentication mod. Since the mod was just installed everyone is not registered yet. Yes even I lost my entire inventory and I had a lot of diamonds from mining too!

I now have the ability to undo griefing and bad things that go on in our world. Ontop of that I have implemented a login system so when you enter the game the first time after this post you will have to /register and then /login. This Authentication prevents people from moving or doing anything until they authenticate themselves. This protects your accounts from other people logging in as you. Enjoy the added securities!

OMFG YES IT’S TRUE! Now there is a world map. The map updates whenever a player logs in and starts making changes (placing/removing blocks). It shows the whole world as it loads for players. It also shows the chat going on in server and allows you to chat with people from the web without needing to login to the game.

Here’s the outline on the new feature:

• Use saddles to ride any mob, animal and even players
• Control mobs/animals by use of a whip (fishing rod)
• Command mobs to move, attack and stop using simple chat commands
• Your mob will protect you from anything causing you harm
• If you attack anyone, your mob will lend a hand
• Feed your mob to replenish its health.
• Your mob will talk to you too.
• Travel at much faster speeds than walking
